yesterday has been rather eventful! using jayne's birthday as an excuse, we managed to spend quality time together! how long have we since just hang out together as cousins! supposed to have kushinbo buffet, but we only met at 230 and the buffet ends at 3pm therefore we decided to dine elsewhere. so i proposed cafe cartel but the lunch set meal ends at 230! then i suggested astons specialties. when we finally found it after one big round the mall, its still close for renovations! oh my goodness! in the end we dined at new york new york. -.-
but the best thing was the quality time we shared yesterday. talking about our siblings and the silly things that we used to do when we were young. haha! so hilarious. girls! we should do it more often.
then we went to the supermarket because jayne needed to get her fbt shorts. and we witnessed a thief-in-action. hahaha!! okay not really witness because we only heard oi! thief! and someone running away. of course we were kpo to go check it out but we couldn't see anything la.
anyway, internship's starting next week! OH MY GOODNESS! How fast! i still need to go get more formal tops and becky, baking session at your place this fri? |

maybe i should be a kopi-soh in future. be the taokay of a kopitiam. hahahahah!!
recently i just help sh get the number for a rental lease downstairs. and apparently, half a shop space is $1800 and a full shop rental is like $3600! omg! i counted a total of 10 full shops downstairs, which means:
3600x10= $36 000 (a month)
36 000 x12= $432 000 (a year)
okay, lets just say the electricity/water bill is $10,000 a month. wah seh! i'll still earn $26 000 a month! whats more, that just a kopitiam in a small quiet neighbourhood area! imagine how much the rental is at places with more crowd like kovan!!! now, lets just pray that i'll strike toto/4D and have capital to buy one whole kopitiam then i can sit back, shake leg and see money rolling into my pocket.

been awhile since i last posted.
Amazing how time flies! its been almost a month ever since my holiday started! which means, i have been lazing around doing nothing for a month. How boring my life is. suppose to go vietnam but my mum is forever procrastinating. Haiyo. Planned to go for a short holiday/ cruise but my good old buddies so not steady one. hahahahaha.
been playing mj quite often. hahahaha. won a little here and there. managed to get things which i planned to done. Photos printed. tried cooking and i finally learned how to use a can opener!!! went to look at showrooms for the toilet and kitchen and i have been waking up early! well, at least i dont wake up at like 12plus 1 anymore!
watched a few movies and completed series of dramas.
went swimming, hit the gym once (which was so boring). LOL.
in a few weeks time, internship is starting! and launch of SIP is this friday. oh my! how time flies. I hope this year will pass slowly. I have no idea what do i want to do after poly. So please, let time pass slowly!!
BBQ at my place this thurs! because i have nothing to do at home, so i decided to be in charge for most of the food. so daring of me! LOL. like always, im just going to delegate the work. Not like me to get everything done by myself. hahahahahaha. and hopefully i can wake up in time for launch of SIP on friday! its freaking 9am in the morning lah!

I stayed home today. felt really terrible yesterday. down with fever flu cough and worse still, i had cramps. what a way to start the holidays! but im thankful that it didn't come one day earlier. if not i would have fainted in school!
so today, i spent the time resting at home. and i clear up my room again! cleared the lecture notes, my cupboard and i vacuumed the floor! hopefully i dont need to dig out my lecture notes again. cross fingers.
oh, and i saw shijing today. so we talked and i found another mj kaki! so next monday? my place? okay? |

so shinyu made the same mistake as i did, so we were counting our marks hoping that we can at least pass. hhahahahah.
the holidays are here!! okay no supp please. haiyo, stupid stupid me. till results are out, im going to trying learning a skill or two in the kitchen. heheheheh. ambitious. i know!
please don't fall sick amelia! i still want to eat my suki sushi buffet. The runny nose has gotten a little worse+symptoms of pre-sickness. oh my. terrible feeling!

CCC was okay. don't think i need to do a supp paper. or at least i hope! *fingers crossed.
MEP paper tmr. oh my. i haven't study. i actually wanted to start yesterday. like go straight home after CCC. but plans change. i met up with sh and ter. had lunch, walked and talked. by time i reached home, i was so tired, i slept till dinner time! then i don't know what i did for the entire evening and ta da! its wednesday!
i prolly should start revising mugging now!!! okay! i shall do it now! no supp please! i want to go on a holiday!
but before that, my new bed is coming and we are going to renovate the kitchen. so im going to browse through catalogues and make the kitchen look pretty pretty! and say hello to my new oven! (so pathetic i know. which kitchen doesn't have an oven! its like a neccessity you know)

Today haven't been good. okay, besides the sushi buffet i had just now with a group of close friends.
This semester's results haven't been good at all. sometimes, to the point of me even wonder ing if favouritism really comes into play. CCC lecture wasn't much of a help. then came news of my SIP. along with vanessa, vivienne and sze lin, the 4 of us had secured our SIP with CNBC. Spell H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K. i really hope i can manage it. especially after hearing the job scope of each interns. hai... but well, apparently cnbc only wanted chinese females. Raciest+gender discrimination? i don't know.
but at least, the only thing that made my day was food. yes, the buffet was good. but i wished i had more sashimi! |

I SURVIVED THE WEEK! yay! actually, i had something on for the whole week. on top on regular assignments, i had my interview on wed and FTT on thurs! which i almost forgot about. hahahaha. but i did pass. heheheheh.
the feeling after multicam class was wonderful! finally, school's out! although we have 2 papers, but heck lah! i still have one week break which i might be going in to malaysia. HEHEHEHEH. eat, shop and play. yeah, my mum always goes in to malaysia to pump petrol, eat and shop. so thats why i tag along!
so yesterday the people came over to my place for WII and MJ. oh how fun! thanks guys for the donation! heheheh. should do it more often since the holidays are coming!
my mum's coming back today! and i think i should be going to the airport. but i want to eat popeye's again!
shall go pester my dad nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. |

BUSY LIKE A BUMBLE BEE!
this week's is going to be/ has been a killer. Had radio assessment today which was a :(. although it wasn't entirely our fault, but still..... then i have newscasting assessment tmr which is going to be a :O. But something happen to the studio today. So i don't know if the tv studio would be fixed by tmr. IF NOT... I dont want to go back to school for an extra day!!! then i have an interview on wed with cnbc. which hopefully will be a (: then multicam on friday which is a :-| :-| :-| i'll worrying like a freak! oh my oh my. i really hope this week will fly past fast! then, i'll be free for a week before the exams. neh neh. they should have do away with the exams and give as a long break so that all of us can be geared up for SIP. hahahaha. whats excuses.
and hopefully i'll also have time to visit ____________ and look at my _____________ and then i will go to malaysia and get my ____________!! HAHAHA.
THIS POST IS SO NONSENSE. I KNOW! blame the school. :P

We house kept muffin for the past few days! how fun! and look how adorable she is! she slept on my bed last night because mummy went out. look how sweet she is. but she is very anti- mama and dillon. hahaha. she growls and bark when dillon tried to come into the room when she was sleeping. but she went home to her daddy today. :( awww, but i think we might get the same breed for ourselves! hahahah.
anyway, cherry, our old dog is back at our place for the next few days. Bryan claims he will take care of her and clean up her poo and urine. LOL. lets see if he marks his words.

It has been so windy for the past few days! it gets even worse at night when the wind blows so hard that the window keep making so much noise! how to sleep!!!
And yep, the cold blows of the wind remind me so much of perth! how i miss the weather and the place! sigh. i cant wait for the holidays and take a short break again!!!
but for now, i should get back to my multi cam proposal and hopefully finish it by tonight. |

yes, i just failed my FT today. BUT, thats not the main highlight. hahaha. FT just felt like gambling. With 6 dollars. then you trial and error. close your eyes and see if it is a PASSES of FAILED. hahahahah.
but anyway, that wasn't the main highlight today. The main highlight was news of my SIP. Apparently, the committee put down my name for one of a company. And i am supposed to be waiting for a call to go down for interview. I must say that this is indeed a rare opportunity for me. Actually i never really expect to be even shortlisted for it.
Although i have no idea which department i might go to, i have little faith in myself to be able to do well. I mean, its a big company. Good name, good reputation. But me? sharks.
Yes, i am excited for SIP to start (that is if i managed to get in), eager to learn more. But yet im worried. Am i ready? For such a challenge? Especially for me, when my english is like shit and there is a whole lot of ppl who deserve to get it more than i do.
But well, i shall embrace this chance and take it on. yes i should.

Yay! Im going to have Popeyes soon!! Hopefully it doesn't fail my expectations. hahahaha. the last time i had it was at hongkong airport. so hopefully it is about the same or even better!!! but damn, you have to pay additional 50 cents for the chicken parts you want. wa lao.
Managed to called the clique to join me too. hahaha. we should do this more often, like once a week. :)
so i'll most prob go down after my FT on thurs. Too bad ph cannot join us. hahaha.

i just finished updating my calendar. After noting down all my deadlines for assignments, skill test, projects and so on. I realised school's going to be out in less than 6 weeks. Then im having my 2 papers. And before i know it holidays are going to be over and then comes internship. Oh man, thats 6 months Im praying i get a company and job that i will be able to cope for 6 months! and again, before i know it, my second semester of my third year is going to commence.
How fast time flies. Its getting scary. And im not sure how am i going to cope with it. Before i know it, i will be done with my poly education. What am i going to do after that? Sharks.
Anyway, although there is only 6 weeks left of school, I have tones of assignments/projects/skill test/ assessment to do. its only 6 weeks but it seems like my timetable for each week is filled with something!
and sharks! i totally forgot that my final theory is this thurs! (which i highly doubt i can make it) and the thing is, i have studio tours to do! die, die, die. Thats the thing when i dont have my organiser with me. I simply lost track of everything!
Im going to cramp abit of Q&A for my FT on thursday now. crap.

Im finally done wih my radio feature! but its like shit. LOL. too bad, i have poor time management skills. hahah! and we only can book one hour for the audio suite! ahhh!!
anyway there was rehearsal today. haiyo, stressful. I cant imagine what it will be like on the actual recording. but dont worry darius, im sure you can do it!
The netball girls are coming over tmr! man, thank goodness i rushed my assignment so i'll at least get to relax tmr. and most prob mahjong! how fun right!
okay im going to watch the little nyonya on youtube! catch up on the missing episodes because of my hongkong trip! i only knew about the site after i saw debbie watching it lah. wa lao, im so slow. hahah!! |
